Frequently asked questions

Please leave a space on your driveway so we can park our van as close to your property as possible, as we use a high-performance van-mounted system with hoses running into your home.

Please ensure pets are kept safe and secure, as the door will need to remain slightly open during the clean.

We do not require electricity, but access to an outdoor tap would be appreciated.

A light vacuum in high-traffic areas is recommended, especially if you have pets.

This helps reduce the transfer of allergens between properties and allows us to focus on the deep cleaning you’re paying for.

We recommend using larger or heavier furniture to lift smaller items off the floor, helping to clear space without fully rearranging the room.

For example, in bedrooms, you can use the bed to hold items such as books, toys, and bedside cabinets. In living rooms, a large sofa can be used to hold smaller pieces like chairs, coffee tables, and plants.

You can also temporarily move items into other areas such as kitchens or bathrooms while the main rooms are being cleaned.

Please do not move all furniture from one side of the room to another or pull everything away from the walls.

The goal is to keep walkways clear, as these are the areas where dirt and soil are most likely to become compacted and require the most thorough cleaning.

Because we use the latest carpet cleaning technology, our process is typically much faster than traditional methods.

As a general guide, a single room carpet clean usually takes around 30 minutes, while a three-room job may take about 1 hour. Larger jobs, such as 4–6 rooms, typically take between 1.5 to 2 hours.

For upholstery, cleaning a 1–2 seater sofa usually takes around 30–45 minutes. Larger pieces, such as an L-shaped sofa, may take up to 1.5 hours, while a 6-seater corner sofa can take around 2 hours.

These times are approximate and may vary depending on factors such as the condition of the items, level of soiling, and ease of access. However, they should give you a helpful guide when planning your day.

That’s the million-pound question—and the honest answer is: it depends.

Stain removal is influenced by several factors, including the type of carpet, the type of stain, and whether any attempts have already been made to remove it.

As a general rule, we will do everything possible to treat and remove stains. However, some stains can be permanent. Carpet cleaning should primarily be seen as a hygienic service, with stain removal as an added benefit rather than a guarantee.

If your main concern is a specific stain, we recommend sending us photos in advance so we can assess the likelihood of successful removal and set clear expectations.

Yes, you can walk on the freshly cleaned carpet if needed. However, please make sure to use clean house slippers, or we can provide overshoes for you to wear while the carpet is drying.

Take extra care when stepping from damp carpet onto hard flooring, as this can be slippery.

Drying time depends on factors such as humidity, temperature, and airflow. In most cases, carpets take between 4 to 8 hours to dry completely.

You can help speed up the drying process by using fans in the cleaned areas, turning on your heating or air conditioning, and slightly opening windows to improve airflow.

Payment is required once the job is completed.

For your convenience, we accept both cash and card payments on-site. Our team carries a card machine and can provide a receipt immediately after payment.

We are committed to working with you to resolve any issues that may arise.

This may include treating specific areas of concern or, where necessary, re-cleaning the affected area.

Ultimately, we’re not satisfied until you are.
